I hoped to get away from WordPress to run this site. A combination of Drupal and tumblr seemed like the perfect mixture of high-powered, do anything flexibility of Drupal combined with post-anything, post-anywhere flexibility of tumblr. But why do with two tools what you can do with one?
I’m going to stick with WordPress, and learn to develop in a simpler CMS application before branching out to a more complicated system like Drupal. Oh, and the open source traits of WordPress allow me to own my content, where migrating data out of tumblr could have proved complicated.
